Merkur Progress 510 Safety Razor

Description: Long handle version of the Merkur Progress, an unavoidable reference in the world of traditional shaving. Launched in the 50s, it was one of the pioneers in terms of adjusting the blade gap. It has five markings, but its mechanism does not vary by “clicks”, allowing a fine adjustment through a thread on the base that also serves to fasten or release the upper plate, simplifying the cleaning of the mechanism and changing the blade. Slightly more gentle than the Merkur Progress short handle version due to the extra weight. Great for novices willing to try out an adjustable razor and veterans who vary their shaving frequency and prefer long handle razors.
